Global Golf Vision Award

One of Vietnam’s most forward looking and enterprising business leaders is a man who adores the game of golf.

He is an avid golfer and once represented his country at the Southeast Asian Games in golf. The man in question is Le Van Kiem, the owner of three golf courses in Vietnam and one in Laos. Mr. Kiem’s course in Ho Chi Minh City is the award-winning Long Thanh Golf Course and the Long Vien Golf Club in Vientiane is another award winning course.

His newest courses are located in the spectacular region of Cam Ranh in Vietnam and are scheduled to be open for play in late October.

Mr. Kiem’s new courses are designed by the golf legend Greg Norman. Known as the KN Golf Links, the new courses are part of a massive new resort destination taking shape along an 8-kilometer stretch of white sand less than an hour’s flight from Ho Chi Minh City.

KN Golf Links is part of KN Paradise, an 800-hectare integrated resort venture that is also slated to include an array of upscale villas for sale, a gaming complex and a private beach club. Under the watch of Mr. Kiem more than 30 hospitality projects have been licensed for development along the gently curving strip. Many are hotels that do or will carry a world-renowned brand name.

Cam Ranh is on the cusp of becoming the next great hot spot in Southeast Asia,” said Mr. Kiem. “Having a golf course the calibre of KN Golf Links is only going to speed that process.”

Arguably, the entire KN Paradise project ranks amongst the biggest development projects in Vietnam. Mr. Kiem is being recognised for this with the Global Golf Vision Award.

Come and be a part of this great moment in the history of Asian Golf.
