Voting For 2017 Asian Golf Awards Sets New Record
With slightly more than three weeks to go before on-line polling closes for the 2017 Asian Golf Awards, a new record has been set on the number of votes cast so far.
The new, all-time record for the Asian Golf Awards as off today (10:00am, June 6) has reached 79,523 valid votes. Not only is it a new record, but it also is quite a jump over last week’s high of 76,211.
As observed, the increase in votes is coming from a lot of new clubs in the region. Success in the Asian Golf Awards is only determined by the number of valid votes received. This being the case and with just three weeks left, it’s time to get your marketing machinery in top gear and to go out and solicit support from your members and guests. It’s the only way!
The leading nations for votes cast are Thailand, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam in that order.
Like last week, Thailand and China were neck and neck in the big push to seek top honours and we can expect this race to get more competitive as the polls deadline approaches. Last year, Thailand was the top nation in the total number of votes cast amounting to slightly over 15,000 valid votes.
The polls is set for three months, expiring on June 30, 2017, and during this period, thousands of votes are expected to be cast to determine the “Best Amongst The Best” in the Asian golf industry under 41 categories.
Take note that voting will only be valid if votes are cast through the official on-line polling facility. So, get your members, guests and friends to start voting for your club, your course, your staff and your service amongst a number of other key operational areas.
