Trends Indicate Heavyweights Are Weighing In
Polling for the 2017 Asian Golf Awards is almost at the end of its two-month run with another month to go.
On-line voting has really hit a feverish pitch and trends are indicating that some of Asia’s big names in the golf club industry are gearing up for a grand finale. However, this trend is just not limited to the more established clubs. For the first time, we are seeing newer facilities coming on board to vote and this is a very exciting development.
Voting as of today, Monday, May 22nd, 2017 stood at 68,405 valid votes which is a big boost over last week’s high of 57,866.
Thailand and host nation Vietnam are proving to be the most active on-line voters with India making a charge. Last year, Thailand was the top nation in the total number of votes cast amounting to slightly over 15,000 valid votes.
The polls is set for three months, expiring on June 30, 2017, and during this period, thousands of votes are expected to be cast to determine the “Best Amongst The Best” in the Asian golf industry under 41 categories.
Take note that voting will only be valid if votes are cast through the official on-line polling facility. So, get your members, guests and friends to start voting for your club, your course, your staff and your service amongst a number of other key operational areas.
